DONT BE RETARDED

I am a 44 year old man and I took my 8 year old son into Baytown Texas Academy too purchase a 12 dollar airsoft gun.... the checker proceeded too tell me that I needed too provide a ID too purchace the Airsoft gun...

I am not accustomed to being IDed for purchasing a toy gun.... I basically told the checker DONT BE RETARDED... I also found out that certain survival gear such as a rubber raft you will also get carded. Needless to say ....

went home and ordered the airsoft off the internet. Academys Hitler store policies have made me think.... That I will not be part of the police state on any level and they lost a customer....

I will now purchase my items elsewhere. Thank You.

Airsoft Megastore ripped me off on a broken gun.

A while ago i purchased an m4 airsoft gunfrom them. There were minor flaws and scratches and it looked like it had been used. I used it for a while then sold it. I didn't really have any problems so i ordered another, better one. When i got it it didnt even work, so i called them and the costomer service was horrable. They hung up on me and everything. When they finally decide to take it back and fix it, they charge me 20$ to ship it back. when I get it back it works but it is very bad. All my friends say airsoft megastore is very bad. I will never order from them again and I hope they go out of buiseness.

Review by J. Sterling for Rating: I ordered this to use for tagret practice in my back yard.

It is an ok tagret in my opinion. I asked the Leapers office for the exact dimensions of this tagret and they are 15 Length X 10 Height x 8 Depth. It is good for pistols and snipers, but for my M4, I can maybe get half of the shots in the trap. I managed to hit a couple of tagrets with the M4, and the tagrets barely moved back.

You may have a chance of knocking it completely over if you hit the edge of the tagret. I tested the mechanical reset function just by pushing the tagrets down with my hand, and it has no flaws. The only problem is actually getting the guns to knock those tagrets over. Assembly is a breeze, but this product does not come with a setup manual.

It took me less than 5 minutes to set this up because it was easy to figure out where things go. The net is spaced by metal bars on each side that lock onto the plastic frame, and the bars can fold in when you want to put the tagret away. The net itself holds on tightly to the plastic frame, and there is also little plastic hooks that keeps the net from flying off when hit with a BB. The BB trap itself collects pretty well as long as you get the BBs inside the trap.

Sometimes the BBs will bounce off the tagrets, and not make it inside the trap.

If you are looking for a good tagret to practice with, I would recommend finding a bigger one, or one that doesn't bounce BBs off of the tagrets that are supposed to knock over. I thought using a non-battery one would allow less resistance on the tagrets, but that seemed to be false.

BUYER BEWARE

BUYER BEWARE. This company sent me a used, broken gun, the gun was delivered late even though I'd paid extra to get it there on time for Christmas, and after a huge hassle and after telling me several outright lies, they agreed to refund only $71 of the $136 I'd paid for the gun, even though I sent it back immediately. They simply kept the rest of my money. They are complete crooks. I later found several reviews of people who had experienced the same thing. TERRIBLE company, please do not fall into the trap of reading "positive" reviews from other sites.

My guess is that you paid $71 for the airsoft and then $65 for overnight shipping.

Shipping costs are non-refundable - this is a universal fact.

False Advertisement and Poor Customer Service

After 5 days, I received a call from Angela. She was extremely nice and offered a solution above expectations for my time and frustration. It is because of Angela\'s actions that my faith in this company is restored.

They are sending me the red dot laser sights that were not included in the original order. They are crediting my card for the difference in the package price and what the guns are actually worth. Plus, they are sending me replacement guns for the two guns that I received. So I\'ll have spares in case these guns break.

So my only complaint is the time and frustration that it took to get that resolution.

False Advertisement! I ordered the "Bravo 22". Received it in about a week which was great. When opened, I realized that these were not the items I ordered. Cannot get customer service to answer emails or phone calls. However, they manage to check their Facebook quite often to make sure all negative post are removed. God I am SO pissed

So I bought a gun for my son and returned it because it didn't shoot correctly. They were supposed to send an email with the return money. I waited about 15 days and no email so my son is pissed and I call the store they said they tested it and they said it worked fine there, I said "ok it didn't work well here" and was rude about it and finnally when I shut him up he said 5-10 business days. How long does it take to send an email, COME ON. Then I call back in 15 days, 2 more business days. I call back in two days and he said he didn't know why and I hung up. Finally after 6 days I get the money and buy a new gun. So the whole process took over a month! I'm not spending my money there again.

Airsoft Mega Store- Rip off? or great value?

First time experience is turning out to be the last. Purchased a $200 AK47 for my son as a Christmas present, never shot more than 100 rounds and the safety /semi/full auto switch just came loose. While it was not obvious how to tighten, I emailed the store asking for directions on how to tighten or return to them. Today is Thursday 12/29/2011, I have one of their automated emails saui ng they received my message and will reply within 24 hrs-this email is from last Sunday (12/25/2011) and I still have no reply!!! Just sent them a second email, notifying them that I will file a claim with my Credit Card for a full refund if I do not hear back from them. By the way, have been trying to call them since Tuesday. After selecting the option for tech support you hear a Good-bye and are disconnected… Is this place some sort of a rip off scheme…. I really question the 5 star reviews…

I eventually reached someone... They tried to explain to me that this is "normal"...BS.

Finally my son had a chance to use it...comes back and tells me that the batteries are smoking...

enough is enough... will not deal with company again...

AirSoft Megastore Didn't Send the Entire Order

I waited 25 minutes, twice, before speaking with "Jeff" at customer service. He was unsympathetic that the order was short & told me to e-mail a copy of the shipping order, which I did. He seemed annoyed that I bothered him & never apologized or assured me he would make it right. He did not thank me for calling & refuse to say goodbye. He just said nothing, apparently hating his job & the customers who bother to call him. Next I got an e-mail asking me to check to make sure my merchandise wasn't in the box with everything else. Of course I emptied the box to make sure it wasn't at the bottom. Next came an e-mail with a return merchandise number. How can I return something I NEVER GOT IN THE FIRST PLACE!

Poor customer service

Go elsewhere!!!. Emails not answered! Calls not answered! This alone makes me sure they'll never get my business again. I sent an email stating I'd like to cancel my order and never received a reply; HOWEVER, I did get "your order has shipped" generic email from them, after I sent my cancel order. hmmm. I have used the ups tracking number they sent and 24 hours later the UPS website states they'll update WHEN THE PACKAGE IS PICKED UP-- so these #@#@s just created a label... Do your homework, go to forums to find places to order.. seems like ehobbyasia, evike, airsoft atlanta are good places to go...

I purchase a high end airsoft gun from Airsoft Megastore. The box was a bit dented when I receive it.

The bolt holding the barrel to the stock is broken. The gun falls apart when I just take it out of the box. I then contact their customer support looking for an RMA. When I send a picture they say the will not honor their warranty because I took it apart.

The problem is that I didn't take it apart, it fell apart because the bolt was broken.

People with bad experiences need to post them at review sites. They currently have a great review at ResellerRatings, so enough poor experiences may not be getting posted.

They are also now listed at FatWallet.com. Any other reivew sites post you experience to them!

Rude, late, no compensation for late xmas gift

Spoke with a manager by the name of Michael #65437 and he was rude and not willing to help me. I ordered my son a gift on dec 3 and didn't receive it til dec 27. Customer service is none existent. Do not buy from them!!! The manager told me I should be happy that I didn't buy the air soft gun for my five year old and then he would throw a fit that he didn't get his gift in time and use the gun on me. I told him that I wouldn't buy an air soft gun for a five year old.

Try being less of a pretentious materialistic chodeflake and be happy that you are able to celebrate the holidays with family. And the manager, (Terminator), was wise in being thankful that your kid wouldn't airsoft you while you slept. Would be a hilarious YouTube video, to be sure. But, then again, we are here to deter violence.

(And stupidity). Ergo, thanks for making a pointless complaint.

Airsoftmegastore doesnt fix their mistakes.

After 3 good purchases from Airsoftmegastore I decided to purchase A higher end gun from them.I received the gun and after 20 shots or so it makes a loud clunk noise and totally freezes.I called and was given the normal "what bb's were you using questions". I was told I could pay to ship it back to them and it would take 4-6 weeks to have it fixed and sent back.The gun weighs almost 20 pounds (A&K m60) and would cost 35 to ship...I also express my concern over the long wait to get it fixed.The representative (Mike) told me that if I knew a place that repairs airsoft guns they would refund me the cost of repairs.I took it to be repaired and faxed them a receipt. I received an email saying "Were sorry for your trouble with your purchase...what bb's were you using? We will gladly fix your airsoft gun."I wrote back and explained everything all over again. They sent an email back saying "Were sorry for your trouble with your purchase...what bb's were you using? We will gladly fix your airsoft gun."I called this time, frustrated with the cookie cutter emails. I was told I would have to submit a claim through ups...since they shipped it. Just for giggles I called UPS who promptly said "Sounds like airsoftmegastore is trying to pass the buck"I called airsoftmegastore again (who once again had no clue what was going on) who this time said "why'd you send us a cost for repairs?".Now they claim thy would never have told me to go get it repaired.Thank god my bank says this is fraud and that I can file a dispute over the cost of the repairs.It is totally obvious now that they have no communication and don't back up what they say.Their a good store till they make a mistake.

This company pulled Buy Now-Discount trick, by getting sale and then NOT! shipping since 5 days back now and still not sent out. Just false UPS numbers sent us, that track nothing at all.

Sent us FALSE! tracking number that is not active for days now and writes us that all is shipped. I bought on Thursday for proper ship on Friday,which it is Tuesday now and i only have FALSE! ship UPS numbers that do not track anything at all. This is OLD eBay trick, to delay people, by sending false postal information to hold people funds,yet sending nothing at all. It is FRAUD !!, Plain and simple FRAUD ! to do this to good honest buyers.

I was a great buyer with NO problems,BUT they/Now i get the SHAFT and yet before i did not listen/accept the other bad news online, as real, BUT! now i see the DARK side of there ways.

Poor service, Liers about truly shipping my order out. From reading others notes, they do NOT honer fixing problem guns, nor do they e-mail people back in timely fashion to correct issues in timely fashion, or at all for the customer.

Diamond Tactical Carrier not as it appears or seems

posted by dogrunner100 I ordered the Diamond Tactical plate carrier, when it arrived it was not at all as advertised, nor was it the style shown in the picture. Fortunately a friend was present when I opened the box, liked the vest and bought it from me for $5 less than I paid.I only had to eat the $28.99 shipping charge which is also outrageous. I will never order anything else from this company nor would I recommend it to another person. Their sorry business practices and misrepresentation have now cost them several thousand dollars in additional orders.

Airsoft Megastore: Terrible Customer Service, LOL!

I ordered an Airsoft rifle from Airsoft Megastore from their Boneyard using a 30% off coupon. Several days later I get an email from them that the Item I have purchased is not in their inventory. I was a little frustrated at this point but re-selected a new rifle. I then received another email saying that they were glad that I made a new selection BUT they cannot apply the 30% off coupon because it has expired. I have been going rounds with them all day that I had applied the coupon before it expired, that it's their fault for the inventory problem and that it's their fault that I had to re-select a new rifle. Their customer service is really lousy! It's also frustrating when their excuse is that the new rifle I selected is $5 cheaper so I saved money being forced into my #2 choice...

Try to return a product to this persons company and you will see that he dropped out of school prior to learning the value of customer relations. For every one dissatisfied customer they will tell ten others and so on and so on.

I received a gun from this company that out of the box didnt work and was sent back. The second gun also failed. It cost me $28.95 to return the gun for the first go around. On the second go around they paid the freight back.

The third gun FINALLY was inspected prior to shipment. It was repaired but the company won't make good on refunding my $28.95 freight cost for the original gun even though they never checked the first two guns they sent me as they were in the original plastic. After 45 minutes of arguing with the "so called" customer service Manager they will only refund me $17.95 for the freight. I have purchased numerous items from the internet and never had such a hard time getting a company to admit fault and refund my money.

Shame is they will hire a consultant to help clean up their image from other dissatisfied customers once word gets out that they operate like this. I would never waste my time ordering from this guy no matter what price he sells at. The people he has working for him must have to bow to him like the dictator as they are completely afraid of making good on bad situations. Why even employ a manager with no authority?

Ernst and Young must not really vet what type of "entrepenuers of the Year they recognize as this guy's company is a fake. :( :( :( :(

Obviously the award is not that prestigious or recipients carefully researched. Airsoft Mega shipped us a mask and gun so poorly packaged that the gun smashed and damaged the mask during shipment.

On the first use, the gun broke (it was probably damaged in shipping too). After contacting their customer service within 48 hours of receiving the package and emailing them photographs of the damaged items (per their request), I was told I would have to pay the return S&H, I would be charged a restocking fee of 10% to 25%, I would have to pay the new S&H for the replacement gun to be shipped to me, I could only have a store credit for the mask, and I may be retro-charged for my original free shipping and handling (the order was over $150). Essentially i would owe company more money for less product. In the end my credit card company decided to investigate and we are waiting for the verdict.

Besides all of that, they had the nerve to send me a description of how to package the returns and a statement telling me that they would not take responsibility for any items damaged during my returns to them!!! They also bombarded us with emails listing their "policy" as their defense to their poor customer service.

There's a lot of money to be made in sending people broken and/or used stuff and charging them for new stuff, and then making sure they pay return shipping to then just continue to *** them around after that...which they seem to be doing to plenty of us (myself included).
